The "Share Car Location" feature in the "Park Reminder" app allows users to share their current parking location with others. The shared information includes only the parking address, parking time, and a link to Apple Maps and Google Maps to display the parking spot on the map.
If the recipient of the shared link also has the "Park Reminder" app installed, they can open the parking location in the app. Otherwise, the link will open in a web browser.
A small web application is available to display the parking location. This web application is hosted on a server operated by us. The web application does not store any information about the shared parking locations and is only used for displaying the parking locations. If necessary, the location and parking time may be temporarily cached to allow for the display. This data is deleted shortly afterward and is not further processed. No personal data is transmitted.
